About the Images

These photos are a small sampling of numerous photos of the process of restoring this colossal mural. It is 326 feet long x 8 feet high, painted on eighty-two (82) 4 foot x 8 foot wood panels.

WOW !

It was originally created in 1993 and restored summer and fall 2009. 1n 1993 Kiela Smith-Upton lead a team of nearly 100 volunteers with assistant John Ewing to brainstorm, design and paint this phenomenal project .
