The MISSION of Songhay Studios Group is to provide distinctive, engaging and high-quality creative and learning services and experiences through arts and culture.
 
We currently design and create custom mosaic tile murals; and conduct workshops, professional development, arts education services, mentoring and periodic workshops.

 Songhay Studios Group

is a visual arts based company founded by its Creative Director, Kiela Smith-Upton. Songhay Studios Group works individually and in collaboration with artists and non-artists.

Kiela Smith-Upton earned her Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) degree from the world famous, SCHOOL OF THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO (SAIC). She is a Core Artist member of Chicago Public Art Group (CPAG), a 20 yr veteran artist with Art Resources in Teaching (A.R.T.) and an officer of the Bold Literary Talkers (BLT) Toastmaster's Club.

 

Kiela Smith-Upton is also available for keynote speaker and Emcee services.
